3D Printer Technician II

As a member of the 3D print team, your job is to operate and maintain a cluster of 3D printers, with the purpose of producing printed parts that comply with quality standards. One shift is available: weekdays Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Operation of 3D printers in a production setting
  2. Repair and maintenance of 3D printers
  3. Adhering to and managing printing production quotas and deadlines
  4. Cleaning of 3D prints for use in the production process
  5. Conduct a vast majority of printed part cleaning
  6. Evolve the part cleaning processes, provide part cleaning instruction and improvement to cluster technicians
  7. Conducts and trains cluster technicians in heat bed lamination, PEI removal, and PEI repair
  8. Inspect prints to assure adherence to quality expectations
  9. Consistent attention to production quality
  10. Prompt and consistent attendance is required for this position
  11. Data entry for inventory control
  12. Other duties as assigned

Work Experience:

  1. 1 year manufacturing environment work experience or 6 months 3D printing in a production environment
  2. LulzBot 3D Printer experience
  3. GNU/Linux experience is a plus

Assembler

As a member of the Manufacturing team, the Assembler I will put together fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
  2. Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  3. Follow instructions and guidelines with attention to meet quality standards.
  4. Keep up with the pace of production consistently after appropriate training.
  5. Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
  6. Follow direction of senior personnel.
  7. Works under immediate supervision.
  8. Prompt, consistent attendance is required for this position.
  9. Other duties as occasionally assigned.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. SA Engineering and Provisioning
    1. Engineer, install and maintain IT solutions for various project and operational needs.
    2. Install new / rebuild existing servers/workstations and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
    3. Install and configure systems that support Free Software applications.
    4. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
    5. Contribute to and maintain system standards.
    6. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
  2. Operations and Support
    1. Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
    2. Proactively operate a secure environment. Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
    3. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
    4. Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
    5. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
    6. Provide support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
    7. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  3. Maintenance
    1. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure and add new services as necessary. Apply important security patches within one business day.
    2. Upgrade and configure system software that supports operational needs.
    3. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
    4. Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
    5. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
    6. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
    7. Perform network architectural design, diagrams, and numbering strategy to support a growing network infrastructure.
    8. Familiarity with one or more scripting or programming languages suitable for routine system administration.

Knowledge and Skills:

    1. Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
    2. Five to Ten years system administration experience.

Quality Control Inspector I

Aleph Objects, Inc. is currently searching for a Quality Control Inspector. As a member of the Manufacturing team, the Quality Control Inspector will assure the quality of all parts entering Aleph Objects, Inc.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Follow directions to prioritize workload daily according to demand.
  2. Identifies and reports non-conformance to known standards using various testing methods.
  3. Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities.
  4. Under minimal supervision, preform visual and measurement inspection tests including calculating distances, angles, radius tapers, thread and gear data using complex measuring equipment.
  5. Utilizes precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, surface gauges, indicators, etc. to accept or reject parts so the product sent to customers meeting expectations and quality standards.
  6. Reads and understands technical documents and procedures including but not limited to, schematics, specification documents.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year applicable product inspection experience.
  2. Desired, but not required: Intermediate experience building or operating a 3D printer. This includes understanding how the components interact with each other.

Skills, Certifications, and Education:

  1. Understanding of inspection tools
  2. Basic understanding of fundamentals of electronics and wiring
  3. Comfortable communicating and troubleshooting issues with peers on a regular basis

Sales Support Associate

Your job is to engage current and prospective customers through telephone, email, and in-person communication. You will be working primarily within the sales department to provide best-in-class customer service while helping to increase sales and support internal needs as well.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Receive incoming calls and assist customers on the phone with invoices, shipping quotes or issues, basic technical support, tracking information, inside sales orders, and quotes. Pass off calls to other departments as indicated.
  2. Verify and process website sales orders and Purchase Orders from individuals and accounts.
  3. Respond to customer sales leads and incoming correspondence via email, ensuring a timely and accurate response. Assign or hand off leads to other departments as indicated.
  4. Assist Channel Sales in supporting reseller accounts as-needed.
  5. Directly support the outbound sales team, including: taking notes, scheduling meetings, following up with customers, and assisting with other tasks as-needed.
  6. Assist walk-in customers with sales orders as necessary.
  7. Provide feedback for streamlining processes and increasing efficiency for any departments
  8. Handle variety of client situations advising the Sales Supervisor of actions taken.
  9. Responsible for verifying that all files, computer generated shared documents, sales quotations and sales orders are current, accurate and accessible.
  10. Work on additional projects or tasks involving other departments as assigned by Sales Supervisor.
  11. Utilize an organized and comprehensive method for department documents ensuring ease of use and collaboration with others.
  12. Self-motivation, organization, and time management skills are a must.

Shipping Clerk

Aleph Objects, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Shipping Clerk. This role performs order fulfillment of products and parts from the warehouse to customers and distribution centers.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Accurately ship domestic and international small package outgoing shipments.
  2. Ensure proper packaging/handling of parts, pick and pack, and labeling.
  3. Build pallet shipments up to 7 feet tall for daily LTL pick-ups.
  4. Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety operating procedures; safely use equipment provided including forklift, pallet jack, karts, and ladders.
  5. Communicate with other departments, managers, suppliers, and customers via email, instant message or phone. Work as a team member to solve problems.
  6. Ensure the accuracy and details of addresses for shipments or return shipments.
  7. Accurately assist in completing records, logs, manifests, and other pertinent documentation to support the jobs function.
  8. Ship returns through the distribution centers or through headquarters as required.
  9. Accurately deliver sales orders daily through the warehouse management system.
  10. Prompt consistent attendance is required for this position.
  11. Address issues and problems to the supervisor as necessary.

Requirements:

  1. Able to quickly adapt to new shipping software
  2. Computer competency is required including average to high-level typing speed and proficiency using a web browser.
  3. Experience with forklift, pallet jack, 1 year or more.
  4. Experience with basic logistics preferred
  5. International shipping experience preferred
