3D Printer Technician I

Aleph Objects, Inc. ® is searching for a full-time, entry-level, 3D Printer Technician. As a member of the 3D print production team, you will operate and maintain a cluster of 3D printers, with the purpose of producing printed parts that comply to quality standards. One shift is available: weeknights Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per day, 6:30 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Operation of 3D printers in a production setting
  2. Minor repair and maintenance of 3D printers
  3. Adhering to and managing of printing production quotas and deadlines
  4. Cleaning of 3D prints for use in the production process
  5. Inspecting prints to assure adherence to quality expectations
  6. Consistent attention to production quality
  7. Prompt and consistent attendance is required for this position
  8. Other duties as assigned

Work Experience:

  1. No minimum requirements
  2. 3D printer experience is a plus
  3. GNU/Linux experience is a plus

IT Help Desk Technician

The Internal IT Help Desk Technician is a full-time, entry-level position responsible for assisting other Aleph Objects, Inc. employees with the technology required to do their own jobs. This includes troubleshooting and resolving a variety of problems within established practices and documented procedures. The technician must provide frequent technical guidance to others, including interpreting and/or discussing information involving terminology or concepts not familiar to many people.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. SA Engineering and Provisioning
    1. Install new or rebuild existing servers, workstations, VoIP phones and Android mobile phones and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
  2. Operations and Support
    1. Provide support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
    2. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  3. Maintenance
    1. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
    2. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.

Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. 1-2 years technical support or customer service experience preferred
  3. GNU/Linux experience preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Clear interpersonal written & verbal communication
  2. Ability to maintain and follow documented technical procedures
  3. Ability to use Free Software, Libre Innovation, and Open Source Hardware (FLO) tools after training.
  4. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail

Manufacturing Engineer

This role is responsible for leading and performing as part of the Manufacturing Engineering team to support business goals including:

  1. Planning, designing, documenting, and reviewing manufacturing processes.
  2. Identifying problems with the design and/or manufacturing processes of active products.
  3. Coordinating with other departments to develop and implement corrections.
  4. Establishing and implementing successful processes for moving new products into production.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and supervise the team of Manufacturing Engineering Technicians. Manage department priorities by assigning tasks and priority of tasks to technicians.
  2. Maintain Manufacturing Engineering and Repair staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  3. Maintain and review processes of communications with Tech Support, Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing, and Sales to identify and address product issues.
  4. Coordinate and perform manufacturing engineering tasks to identify problems with existing active products and implement corrections
  5. Review and confirm or deny all proposed changes to manufacturing processes and/or processes documentation.
  6. Help with other tasks as-needed to grow the company, serve its customers, and advance Free Software, Libre Innovation, and Open Source Hardware (FLO).
  7. Prompt consistent attendance is required for this position.

Skills, Certifications, and Education:

  1. Minimum 2 years relevant management experience
  2. BS degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred
  3. Strong leadership and ownership is needed
  4. Strong problem solving skills and willingness to be hands on with manufacturing and repair processes
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Highly effective organization, negotiation, coordination, and presentation skills

Shipping Clerk

Aleph Objects, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Shipping Clerk. This role performs order fulfillment of products and parts from the warehouse to customers and distribution centers.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Accurately ship domestic and international small package outgoing shipments.
  2. Ensure proper packaging/handling of parts, pick and pack, and labeling.
  3. Build pallet shipments up to 7 feet tall for daily LTL pick-ups.
  4. Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety operating procedures; safely use equipment provided including forklift, pallet jack, karts, and ladders.
  5. Communicate with other departments, managers, suppliers, and customers via email, instant message or phone. Work as a team member to solve problems.
  6. Ensure the accuracy and details of addresses for shipments or return shipments.
  7. Accurately assist in completing records, logs, manifests, and other pertinent documentation to support the jobs function.
  8. Ship returns through the distribution centers or through headquarters as required.
  9. Accurately deliver sales orders daily through the warehouse management system.
  10. Prompt consistent attendance is required for this position.
  11. Address issues and problems to the supervisor as necessary.

Requirements:

  1. Able to quickly adapt to new shipping software
  2. Computer competency is required including average to high-level typing speed and proficiency using a web browser.
  3. Experience with forklift, pallet jack, 1 year or more.
  4. Experience with basic logistics preferred
  5. International shipping experience preferred

Skills, Certifications, Education and Job Requirements:

  1. Advanced Data Entry
  2. Previous Forklift certification preferred
  3. GED/High School Diploma
  4. Considerable physical activity including handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
  5. Work is normally performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
